Perforation Performance Piece

The word “photography” comes from the Greek words φως (fos, meaning “light”) and γραφή (grafi, meaning “writing” or “drawing”), essentially meaning “drawing with light.” I use the word “photography” to explore how light creates and shapes an image while simultaneously acting against it. Through perforations, I invite light to enter what it creates and reveal what it conceals.
