I am an artist and scholar based in Rochester, New York, where I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Visual and Cultural Studies at the University of Rochester. Born in Tehran, I hold an M.F.A. in Photography and Related Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Photography from Tehran University of Art.
Recently I have been granted a fellowship to join the Stanley Museum of Art at the University of Iowa beginning in summer 2027 to catalog a major print collection including works by K.G. Subramanyan, Ramkinkar Baij, Bhupen Khakhar, and Haren Das.
